Your photo stays on your device and in your private account. It is never shared, never sold, and never used to train AI. Travel buddies only see your styled outfits if you turn that on for a specific trip. You can delete it anytime from Profile > My Photo.
What is collected
Your photo, if you add one — that is the picture of you every look is built on
The photos you cut pieces out of, and the cut-outs that come back

Travel buddies see your lists by default. Your photo outfits are shared only if you turn on "Share my photo outfits for this trip" on that trip, and only for that trip
The cut-out service sees the piece you tapped when you ask for a cut-out. It never sees your My Photo.
How to delete it
Profile > My Photo > Delete my photo — removes it from this device and from every look preview
Settings > Your data > Delete my account — removes your account and everything in it: photos, trips, looks and pieces
Signing out hides everything until you sign back in. It is not a deletion
What never happens
No photo, photo link or photo detail goes to analytics, advertising or any other third party
Nothing is sold, and nothing is used to train AI
No shared or public storage bucket is ever used for a photo
No photo of you is sent for cut-outs — you pick the piece, and only that piece is worked on

Trips you share
Sharing a trip shares the plan: the days, the looks and the list of pieces. Your photo is not part of it unless you turn on "Share my photo outfits for this trip" on that trip's share screen. With it on, a buddy sees styled looks for that trip only — never your original photo, and nothing from your other trips. Turn it off and they disappear again.
The iPhone build keeps photos in the app's own sandbox with iOS Data Protection (Complete Protection while the phone is locked), and cloud sync — when it arrives — uses your own private iCloud database, never a shared bucket. Sign in with Apple works alongside Google.
